Real Sociedad B is forming its squad for the second consecutive season in Segunda División. Defender Unax Agote has renewed his contract until 2027, after playing over 1,700 minutes in LaLiga Hypermotion and the Premier League International Cup. According to AS, the club plans to sign Japanese defender Kita permanently for 1.5 million euros, after loaning him last season. Additionally, Ibai Aguirre has renewed his contract until 2031, making him the player with the longest contract at the club, alongside Jon Martín. On the other hand, Alberto Dadie, Jakes Gorosabel, and goalkeeper Egoitz Arana have left the club, with Arana signing for Sporting de Gijón. Pre-season will begin on July 9, with a friendly against SD Eibar on July 29 at Zubieta. Head coach Jon Ansotegi is still working on the formation of the group, with several decisions pending in the coming weeks. Some players from Real Sociedad C will move up to join the first reserve team, while promotions to the main team and potential loans will be defined in the future. Further reinforcements have not been ruled out.
